Randy Carson, Founder

The YOLO Foundation began granting dreams in September 2025, born from a deep passion for supporting adults through the many challenges they face, especially at the end of life.
Randy’s 40+ years in healthcare—in hospitals, home care, hospice, and private duty home care—along with his long-time support of Make-A-Wish, came together to inspire YOLO. Over his career, he met many wonderful people who knew their time might be short and wanted to make the most of it. He also saw others lose hope and turn inward after a difficult diagnosis; when hope fades, the will to live often fades with it. Although many were never able to have a final dream granted, the few dreams he did witness being fulfilled had a profound impact on everyone involved.
The YOLO Foundation was created to help make as many of these Dreams as possible a REALITY for adults living with life-threatening or terminal illness.
